how to take care of YOUR MIXED TO OILY hair ?

• Choose a suitable but gentle shampoo, avoiding two successive washes, and space out shampoos by using a dry shampoo to refresh the hair between washes.
• Keep your hair clean: regularly change your pillowcase, clean your accessories (hair clip, brush, etc.), avoid running your hands through your hair and let your scalp breathe (out of caps, hats, etc.)
• Ban anything that stimulates the production of sebum: rinsing with water that is too hot, eating a diet rich in fat or industrially processed products, alcohol. and... stress! Easier said than done, but devilishly effective, Yoga here I come :)

THE DONT'S

• Encouraging the scalp to defend itself and thus accelerate sebum production by using overly abrasive products containing aggressive sulphates (SLS) or irritating chemicals. These are effective in the short term but encourage hyperseborrhea in the long term.
• Tie up hair while it is still wet, as the chalky moisture it contains irritates the scalp, which again stimulates sebum production.
• Massaging the scalp with your fingers will activate sebum production. Therefore, take care to apply the shampoo with the palms of the hands and massage gently. Of course, don't scratch your scalp or rub it frantically with a towel...

For more intensive care: apply an absorbent mask with green clay to the scalp only, before shampooing.
