The second chapter of the Fioriture collection, Jasminade is signed by Jean-Claude Ellena, the "Gardener Perfumer".

His olfactory totem is the Jasminum grandiflorum, the perfumer's favourite variety, celebrated for its warm, creamy facets. Its harvest is a ritual of patience: it begins in mid-July and stretches through to the end of September. Nearly 8,000 flowers, each picked by hand with painstaking care, are needed to yield a single kilogram of fresh petals, from which only 1 to 2 grams of precious essence are extracted.

The fragrance opens on Jasmine in all its evolving complexity. At dawn, tender, green and airy notes. As the hours pass, facets reminiscent of orange blossom emerge.

And deep into the night, warm, animal depths take hold. Jasminade does not choose a single face of jasmine: it travels through all of them.
