Sublime Balkiss opens on a rush of dark berries: blackberry, blackcurrant and blueberry form a juicy, faintly tart entrance, brightened by a citrus dash of bergamot. Violet leaf adds a green, powdery facet that keeps the fruit from turning too sweet too soon.

The heart puts Damask rose front and centre, flanked by clusters of lilac and lily of the valley in a delicate, faintly green white floral accord. This springlike floral prolongs the freshness of the opening while setting up a darker base to come.

In the base, patchouli unfolds in two stages: green and earthy at first, then warmer and almost cocoa-like once heather sprigs and cocoa powder wrap around it in a burnished sweetness. The whole closes the composition on a warmth that reads as both raw and indulgent.
